Emulator Runner

Add Games using Wildcards

You can add games by using wildcards in order for fast games addition. This is a useful feature especially for console or computer Emulators because they usually need one ROM file for each game. Just right click the mouse in the Emulator you want to add games in tree view (or go inside the Emulator in List view) and select "Add games by wildcards" from there. A dialog will appear and you can can specify there the directory that Emulator Runner will search for games and the wildcard that will be used for games searching (e.g. *.smd). When you fill these properties press OK and your selected Emulator will be filled with the games found. Note that any existed games will still be available for this Emulator, so previous additions will not be deleted.

Emulator Runner can can identify specific format games with some limitations. That includes Genesis and SNES games, so if a wildcard with an extension that supported by a Genesis or SNES Emulator is provided (e.g *.bin), Emulator Runner will ask you if you want to extract game name from there. Select Yes if you want so, or No if you want the game to be added with a name identical to the filename it comes from.
